Yin Yoga is a deeply nourishing and restorative practice for the nervous system, offering a peaceful and rejuvenating calm for our entire being. Yin Yoga targets our connective tissue, particularly the fascia of the hips, pelvis and lower spine. As we gently release our stories and past traumas stored in the body, we increase flexibility and open ourselves to joy. Appropriate for all levels of ability, this class invites us to practice being fully present as we relax into deep sensation.
Asha Wolf approaches her students with an inquiring sensibility. I recommend her workshops, classes and privates every chance I get. It’s not a stretch to say, Asha has super powers, especially as she hones in on what needs to happen or to not happen to advance a student. This may be due to her deep personal practice, her intense professional training, her trust in her own gifts, or perhaps to the super powers themselves. It is hard to say for certain, but what I do know is that I feel enriched by Asha’s guidance.
